Spring is here and WE ARE BUSY

Friends and family....
While we still don't have the news we have been waiting on, we do know that our adoption journey is not complete.  We still have around $15,000 to raise to cover the remaining cost associated with bringing our girls home.  I know, seems like a LOT.  But God has had this thing from day one, and we have been blessed in unimaginable ways.  All the stories I was told when we started about the miracles surrounding adoption?  They are all true.  We could never have imagined how the pieces would come together.  No, we aren't there yet.  Yes, we are STILL waiting for news to share.  And YES.... WE STILL NEED YOU!!!!


Upcoming fundraisers:

April 13th we are having a YARD SALE!  We need stuff.  Junk you don't want.  Stuff your kids have outgrown.  Clutter from your garage.  Leftovers in the attic.  We all have stuff (well, we have sold most of ours LOL).  Please let me know and I will come get it!

April 20th we are doing FUN ON THE FARM SPRING PHOTOS.  We will have a mini horse, baby chicks, baby bunnies... and who knows what else.  The farm is a pretty place to be in the spring with everything in bloom, so bring the kids/pets/family and let Meaghan Teal Photography capture some fun memories.  $115 includes a 30 minute session, a cd of your shots edited, and a free 8 x 10.  That's a GOOD deal, and she is donating 30% to our adoption!

April 27th I will be set up in DAWSON SPRINGS DARBY DAYS.  Come out and visit.  If you are crafty and want to pitch in, the more items I have the better.  Just let me know what you are making.... or set up a table and hang with me if you want. 

We are also asking for PENNIES FOR A PURPOSE!  Friends, this one is EASY.  From today on, SAVE THOSE PENNIES.  Put them in a jar or a bowl or a piggy bank and LET US KNOW you are joining us in collecting them.  When we get word of when we will travel, we will gather all the pennies and see how much love can be counted one coin at a time.  Pennies add up too!  One cent at a time to bring our girls home. 

I am sure we will have other fundraisers also.  We could travel as early as June depending on how things go, so we are going to be working hard.  Any suggestions on fundraisers?  Any ways you want to help?  Bring it on!
